First Week of School

Part 1 of post. Kinda

The first day of 5th grade was on Monday.

We didn't have any homework though!

I have two teachers. One teaches in the morning, then when we come in from lunch recess, the other teaches in the afternoon.

We have to sit at tables instead of desks. But tables are actually nice. They give you more space.

This year, we have a new music teacher and two new P.E. teachers. So, it's kind of a change. But it's OK! 5th grade isn't so bad. It's actually kind of fun! Also, in 5th grade, we get to join orchestra if we want to. I am. And some of my friends are. I think it will be fun. I am going to play the violin. And, I am also going to do choir, and 5th grade girls basketball! Some of my friends are going to do choir and 5th grade girls basketball, too. I am so exited! This will be my first year on a basketball team, but I do know how to play. Besides, 5th grade is when you can start playing basketball in my school. It sounds fun! But, you have to keep your grades a C or above to stay on the team. And I don't think you try out.

I am also already on swim team, and going to do girl scouts and I am doing piano lessons, too. So, this will be a school year filled with activities!
