Winter is Finally here

Winter has finally come to Idaho!
There is a fresh, pure white, blanket of snow across town!
I love the snow. I think it is so pretty.

Today my friends and I, had a snow fight. We weren't aloud to throw snowballs at anyone, or anything, so we just threw big puffs of snow at each other! Then, we slid on some sleek snow. It wasn't ice. But it was almost like ice made out of snow, except it wasn't as slippery as ice.
We made snowy/ice trails, Olivia, Brianna, and Mary had their own ice trails that they cleared off for the rest of us and let us slide on. They would clear of the snow chuncks after every person. Some of us decided to look for other icey spots so we could slide on them.
We were all so excited. We haven't seen snow since mid-Febuary!
Tomorrow, there is a chance that there will be a snow day at school! That would be cool. Then we could play in the snow, instead. But it probably won't happen. Right now there is about 4-5 inches of snow on the ground, and it is STILL snowing since this morning!

Snow, Snow, Snow! Maybe it WILL be a white Christmas after all! YAY! I hope it is!
(my school hasn't had a snow day in almost three years! And the snow wasn't even as deep as it is right now!)

Anyway, on Saterday, I went to see a play at the Boise little theater that was called: 'A Christmas Story'.
It IS a movie, so you might have seen it. It is a movie about a little boy, Ralphie Parker, who wants a BeeBee gun for Christmas. He has a little brother who is always bundled up, and hiding in someplace, including behind the couch! The Dad gets mad at alot of things, and the mom is always calm. But Ralphie's friends: (one of them is Flick) are loud, and funny.
A girl named Ester Jane likes Ralphie! Anyway, what I thought was really cool is that a boy from my school (in the 6th grade), played the part of Flick! Flick is a funny character. Whenever someone hits him on his right arm, he will say "Owe! That's my soar arm!", and then in the middle of the play he gets his tongue stuck to a poll! Also, at the end, he gets hit on his right arm, and he doens't say anything. So his friend asks "Hey, I thought that was your soar arm!" Then Flick says "Oh, well, it just... got...........better." and walks off. SO that was cool!

Also:
I have the winner name for the theme thing!
It will be called the theme team. Now you can help me choose the theme for my blog background. Sorry, I have already chose this one. It will be Christmas themed! Check the theme team at the bottom of my blog!

HAVE A GWEAT NIGHT!

  1. Awesome! "Theme Team!" I ♥ A Christmas Story; it's one of the funniest movies ever. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the part when his tongue gets stuck the pole - hilarious!

I remember our Snow Day last year. It was great, and it would be even better if we got snowed in! :D
