March of Dimes

Hey everyone,

I need to let you in on some things, first of all, about that back to back game... we won one, and lost one. Then we went to tournament. And we lost that :(

But this is not what this post is focused on.

It's focused on the March of Dimes.

Ok, so every year my school helps this wonderfull program called: The March of Dimes.

So, my awesome school librain, Mrs.Habben, encourages us with things such as: Bears.

These certain bears are the size of beanie babies. They are cute and encourage the students by the bears.

I personaly don't want a bear as much.

So far, this year, I have raised $118.92 but since then, I have turned in another box.

Like the baby in the picture above, The March of Dimes helps premature babies grow into healthy children. It's hard to think of how small of diapers they fit into. :(

Mrs. Habben gave me a special wrist band/ bracelet that has purple string with a little ring that is able to fit just my pinky finger all the way.

I didn't know what the ring was for, it just says: Be Happy-Be Healthy. But today I found out what it was for. The ring, is able to go almost all the way up a March of Dimes baby's arm. :(

But today in library, Mrs.Habben pulled out the diaper that always breaks my heart every year. In fact, in library, kids were staring at me because 2 tears fell out of my eyes. Okay, fine maybe 5 or something, but I mean it was so sad, the diaper was as as small as 2 inches or less wide. It was so sad. And for that reason, I want to help more. So this weekend, Olivia, and I are going around my neighborhood to raise as much money as we can.
