1st Day of SUMMER

Yes, I know. It's been two weeks and 3 days since school got out. But today, June 21st, it is officially the first day of summer this year... I hope the weather acts that way.

Anyway, today was a little busy. I had my physical today and later this summer I'm going to girl scout camp, so I needed five shots to go to it... YIKES!

At the physical, the doctor and nurse just asked questions like "Do you play any sports?".
And checked my ears and heart and blood pressure, and all that stuff. Then, they gave me five shots for my girl scout camp... just in case. It was on this form for girl scouts saying that I needed shots or something like that. :)

After the the blood pressure and stuff was done, the nurse came in with a tray that had four shiny silvery band-aids on it with one Charlie Brown band-aid and five needle things with liquid in them... I admit it, I didn't like the look of the needles. Yuck. Right then and there while I was sitting on the patient's table, I was disgusted imagining a needle being poked in my arm then when it was pulled out, blood gushed out... I imagined wrong about the blood gushing out part. :P
My dad and my brother were sitting in the room waiting.
The nurse cleaned off my arm and said "Ok, here comes the first one, this one won't hurt as bad." I didn't want to watch, so I turned my head away, waiting for a big pinch. But I didn't feel barely anything. Next was the second shot in my right arm. That one hurt a little more. But not as bad as the third one. The third shot was PAINFUL! All I did was say "Ow. Ow. Ow. OW!" But I didn't cry.
The next two shots went by fast, my brother watched. As he watched. He was very pleased. He enjoyed watching his sister in pain. He was laughing and making all these noises.... :P
Oh well. My arms are a little soar. But not too soar. My dad said they'd probably hurt more in the morning.

I gotta tell you something...my brother went to his training session at the gym he goes to, and they worked hims so hard that in the car, he started saying "I'm gonna be sick. I have to puke!" So he rolled down his window and I watched it all come out. It was clear, clear, puke. Looked like foggy water... I thought I'd enjoy that since he was laughing at me getting shots. :) My dad pulled over later and he puked more.

HAVE A GWEAT NIGHT!
