A WEEKEND at CAP

CAP stands for Camp Alice Pittenger, or in other words, GIRL SCOUT CAMP!

This time, I was there with Olivia for only a weekend. But it was really fun.
The theme was 60's, so we made pet rocks, ( :) ), ty-died socks, made headbands, and played minute to win it! We had a minute for all these challenges...
We were in different teams, and each player from a team drew a paper out of a bag. Whatever the paper said, was our challenge. I got Cookie Monster. I had to put a cookie on my forehead and use only my face muscles to get it in my mouth.... that wasn't that easy....

Anyways, GSC (Girl Scout Camp), was a TON of fun. At night, the girls in my cabin, and I got scared. I hate to admit it, but we were scared of SASQUATCH!
Our cabins have NO electricity, so we only had our flashlights. Olive was sleeping on the bunk right below me, and then on the other side of the room, on both top bunks, were Issy and Avery.
We all heard a knock on one of the top windows..... or the wall.... but it was on MY side. I got scared, and Olivia did to.... ALL of us got scared. So Olivia came up with me. We started playing truth or dare, and of course, all four of us knew not to do dare, so we did truth. Then I decided... whatever, and I said "DARE!" So, my dare was to look out the window, for a while without screaming. So I looked out the window, and I saw flashlights outside. I thought "Oh, might just be other girl scouts going to use the out houses." but I am not kidding, the lights went off. And then, 2 minutes later, they came back on. I thought "Oh well. Must be more Girl Scouts" but then, the lights cam closer, and shined in the windows of our cabin. They might have just been inspectors, and they went away after a while.
Finally, we decided to calm down, and go to sleep. But about 15 minutes after we settled down, Olivia says "Guys. I have to go to the biffy!" And, well, she couldn't go alone, because we have to use the buddy system. So, Issy and I went with Olive. (P.S. The BIFFY is another name for the out houses. BIFFY stands for Bathroom In the Forest For You) anyways, we were walking out in pitch black, with only our flashlights. Issy and I decided to go in the BIFFY with Olivia, and turn the other way, because it was literally scary out there. So anyways, after Olive finished, we came outside, and RAN. We heard a BOOM. But we figured it was just the other cabin playing pranks on us.

PLEASE: Do not let this blog post discourage you from going to CAP, its VERY fun. Don't worry

HAVE A GWEAT NIGHT!
