School

School started. Yay. I'm an eighth grader now. WOOT!

Here's how my first day went:

Fast. First period, met my history teacher, who, claims he's really bad at remembering names and says he'll probably learn all of our names by Thanksgiving...yeah...I know. Second period, met my ACC. Math teacher... he's pretty cool, normal, not mean, he's nice...yay! Third period, P.E. teacher. He's tall, REALLY buff, and strict at the same time. He's nice about being strict, too. He doesn't yell, but he tells you something straight forward, and you better not mess up more than once. 4th period, English, yay! I love English as a subject. First of all, I love it when we get to write stories, and I love it when we read in class, and I love that I get to learn more about rules of our language. I have a nice teacher in that class, but, it was awkward because on the first day of school she said to my class, "When I go home every day...I won't miss you." Awkward.  5th period, Earth Science...not my favorite. I like science, but it's not my best subject! My teacher is SO strict on "tardies". It's ok, I'll be good. Period 6th: Spanish! A mix of 9th and 8th graders! I have a few friends in that class, and we got to choose Spanish names for ourselves for that whole year in class... it'll take some getting used to. I like the teacher, though. Period 7, last period, art! I love art, and the teacher is great, too. But the class is full of "sevies" or, seventh graders, as we call them.  WHAT HAVE THEY COME TO THESE DAYS? They are so gossipy and just...no. Ew. I don't like it. Why not have some respect for others instead of talk behind people's backs? They have some learning to do... and I'm talking about one person in specific.

Good day all in all.

UPS: I've already made NEW friends! Zack, Cambra, Aubrey, Flora, and Jeremiah...good kids.(:
I have the most beautifully awesome decked out locker. Love. It.

DOWNS: Drama. I can already tell this year will be FULL of drama.
Another down side is that I thought class started in 5th period at 12:05, which is right after lunch, which gets out at 11:58. It's always been that we have to get to class by 12:05. I walked into my earth science class at 12:03 and my earth science teacher flipped out on me saying i was tardy because class starts at 12:03 and if someone isn't there at EXACTLY 12:03 or before, your tardy. After I walked in, about 10 other people scattered in. My science teacher said, "I don't know why, but lunch periods always have the most tardy students I've ever seen." In my head I was thinking, I wonder why...? Not really...I know why.

 Volleyball:
Season is starting TOMORROW. First game is at Fairmont Jr. High! SO excited, we'll kick BUTT.
