Another post within a 48 hour period! Boy, am I on a roll this week!
Anyways, first of all, I hope that you all had a great Christmas, wherever you are!
I can't help but spill the details about my Christmas to you, so, I apologize ahead of time for writing a whole post about stuff that you probably don't really care about.
Ok, to begin with, I celebrate Christmas twice each year; once at my mom's, and once at my dads. This year, I celebrated Christmas at my mom's house first. My grandma came over for dinner (which was delicious), and to exchange gifts. (Just a little reminder, during BOTH gift exchanges, I kept in mind the real reason of Christmas: Jesus.) I was shocked to open a present from both my mom and grandma (who worked together to get it) because it was a Keurig single-cup coffee maker! While many kids want new phones or video games, this present was just right for me! I love drinking coffee. It keeps me awake and I just love the taste of it to be honest. So a big shout out to my mom and grandma for that!
Yesterday, Christmas Day, I celebrated with my dad and Tracy and Tracy's parents. When I woke up, my brother, Ryan, of course, was still sleeping. He promised that I could wake him up at 10:00 am. (Which is pretty late for me, because I still like getting up early (early being around 8:00), getting some hot cocoa, and sitting around the table to open presents and just talk with family.) But we all agreed on 10, and we didn't start our present ritual until about 10:30. I got many pairs of shoes, some running gear, and a cupcake cookbook (by Lizzy Early from www.yourcupofcake.com ) I highly recommend that book, by the way! Later that night I enjoyed having dinner with family/friends.
Overall, it was a great Christmas (both times!). I can't wait until next Christmas (364 days to go!).
I hope you had a fantastic Christmas, too!
