New Year, New Resolutions

Happy New Year!

I can't believe 2013 is over. Wait, I take that back, yes I can.
This year seemed to go on FOREVER. If I think about my summer break, I feel like it was years ago.

I made a list of just a few resolutions, some of which I have been working on since last year, but they are still resolutions!

For the new year, I thought I'd put up a list of my resolutions, so...enjoy, I guess.

2014 Resolutions: (it feels so weird to type "2014")

  • Be nicer and more understanding to people.
  • Get my driver's license (halfway there)
  • Be happier.
  • Improve my attitude.
  • Help out my parents more.
  • Be more grateful
  • Get into shape again. (This will be a toughy)
  • Bake more
  • Cry less
  • Get good grades
  • Make more friends
Those are my main resolutions. Basically, I just want to become a better person.
I also have heard of a great idea that I absolutely know for sure that I want to do:

I'll get a mason jar, and every time something good happens in your life, or something that you want to remember happens in the year of 2014, write about it on a little piece of paper, and fold it up. Place the piece of paper in the jar, and after midnight on New Year's Eve, you can open the jar, and read all of the papers.

Good idea, huh? I'm doing it.
