It's Beginning to Look Alot Like Christmas!

Wind blows my hair every which-way; in my face one moment,
and then straight back. I shiver, even with my big red coat on. The sky is usually gray. The clouds heavy, and dark, ready to snow any minute. Christmas lights hung up on many houses, shine bright in different shades of reds, blues, greens, and creamy whites. They twinkle before my eyes, and make me smile, for I love seeing people's holiday spirit. I walk into stores, who's speakers are constantly booming with joyful Christmas music. I help wrap presents with wrapping paper decorated in all types of designs; Santa clauses, snowmen, candy canes, reindeer, snowflakes, stripes, and even sparkles. The wrapping takes place in a room, that, has scattered pieces of tissue paper everywhere, but that's OK, because it's Christmas time! The trees are decorated, and presents are starting to appear under them. Everyone seems happier, and in holiday spirit. It's about celebrating Jesus' birth, giving, and being happy with your family and loved ones. Spending more time in the kitchen than usual is normal this time of year; you know, baking sugar cookies, jam pocket cookies, toffee, and even divinity- (that's a new one!). The aromas of fresh pine and freshly baked goods fill the house. This time of the year, is by far one of my favorites.

2 more full days until Christmas Day.
Happy Holidays.
Merry Christmas!
