Yeah, I know, I don't have an exact name for the title of this post.
But what's wrong with a date? Nothing, that's what. *wink wink*. Today was weird. After a nice relaxing three-day weekend, everyone seemed to be in a much better mood than usual, which, I have no complaint about. I guess everyone was just well-rested, maybe. Or maybe after one extra day of "freedom" so to speak, we all missed each other. Not that people aren't usually in a good mood. I'm just saying that there was a difference in attitudes.
In English class today, the class that seems to either go by the slowest, (due to
the fact that it is the period right before lunch...wink wink), we had to revise someone's rough draft on a compare-and-contrast essay about two different characters from two-different books. As I read over my partner's paragraph, I could't find anything to improve! They are an amazing writer. They used really strong vocabulary, and at first I couldn't find anything that I wanted to change, besides some punctuation and capitalization errors. What. I didn't know what to do. In the end, I found a few ways to change up the paragraph. I just had to throw this out there because that person inspired me to write more often. I need to get better. I want to get better. Writing more is only one thing that will improve my skills.
Does rap-battling my friends count as practice? Just thought I'd throw that question out there...
Anyways, that's about all that's new.
Goodnight!
