Many people were shocked once they heard that I have never been to a wedding. Most of my
friends have been to more than one. So, this weekend was an amazing experience for me! My cousin, Ryan, and his fiancé, well, now, his wife, go married this weekend in Seattle. I was so excited to go!
We flew into Seattle around 3:30, picked up our luggage, rented a car, and were on our way
to the restaurant for the rehearsal dinner. I haven't seen most of the people attending the rehearsal dinner for a few years, and some I saw just 4 months ago during Thanksgiving. Some, I met for the first time ever! My aunt mary, who, I see one week a year, or sometimes twice or three times a year, (She lives out of state), and my Uncle Ron met up with us at Salty's, and waited with us. I was so happy to see them. I have to say, my Aunt Mary, Uncle Ron, and I are pretty close. My other aunt, Aunt Nancy, arrived with them! She's also amazing, and has a very happy, fun-personality.
We all walked down into the reserved room for the rehearsal dinner, chatting up as many people as we could. Seeing some close family friends, the Paige's, was so nice, too. I loved watching my cousins, 3-5 year olds, chasing each other around and laughing hysterically while playing tag, running around the food table. For a second I had a bad felling when one of them almost ran into some plates... luckily that did not happen!
The best part about friday night? Catching up with everyone. Talking to them. Family.
Family is the best. I seriously don't know what I'd do without any of them. I love being around every single one of them and it was just a good feeling to be with them!
I went to bed and woke up early Saturday morning. I was eager to get out and see the Pike Place Market, eat breakfast, shop, and finally, get ready for the wedding! Here's a few pictures, that describes alot about Saturday. A picture is worth a thousand words, right?
