Time to crank up the tunes, kick my feet up, and relax, it's SUMMER!
As the school year passed by slowly, I kept thinking, "Could summer come any slower?!" but now, now that I know I don't have to wake up at 5:30 a.m., not only on monday, but for the next three months or so, is just an amazing feeling. During school, I could have relaxed as much as I did today, every weekend, and still not have any homework problems. I guess I just relaxed so much is, well, because I might have "splurged" a little by letting myself do whatever. You know, watching TV for the first three hours of the day, in my comfortable pajamas. (I must inform you, though, I wasn't just watching any TV, I was watching Gilmore Girls. That show, my friends, is amazing.)

I relaxed and "tanned" for about twenty minutes, too........
Nah, I'll just tell you right now, that in that twenty minutes I fell asleep and then got up and went inside for some water, and never came outside to tan again today. Not a very productive tanning-day, I guess. I also made cookies today. The classic chocolate chip. The ones that I mention in probably every other third post. The ones that Grandma Sheila is well known for, because of their soft, gooey, melted chocolatey center, with that perfect crispy shell of an outside. Yeah... those.

To top of the week before the week of finals, my basketball team placed 2nd in
the Varsity AAU girls tournament game! I'm so proud of them! We did so amazing, I really couldn't have asked for a better team, really.

Oh, I'm starting drivers ed. Just a little something I forgot to mention.
Now, if you know me, you're probably a little scared right now... and if you know me, you're probably running around to everyone you know telling them to STAY OFF THE ROADS.
But ya' know what? I have a goal to pass this driver's ed. To have my permit, and then my license by December or January! I can do it.... I think.

It's a scary topic to think about, but I'm willing to give it  a shot.

That's really all that has been going on. How has your summer been?!

 Have a "gweat" night, guys.
